PRINCIPAL AND STAFF

Ridgley Curry, Creative Director
A graduate of Art Center College of Design with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design, Ridgley helped pioneer the field of computer graphics. Before desktop publishing emerged on a grand scale, Ridgley quickly understood the significant brand impact computer graphics would have on marketing communications. Thus, he advantageously teamed up with industry leaders at Microsoft and Apple. Through his design expertise and their knowledge of desktop publishing software, these partnerships revolutionized the manner in which advertisers would later approach marketing communications. Ads were no longer done by hand and became much more visually rich. Ridgley helped develop and integrate computer graphics into marketing pieces. From the inception of desktop computers, he has been designing successful marketing campaigns for clients including Letraset, Hewlett-Packard, Xerox, Disney and most recently, PG&E's diversity marketing.

Jose Rennard, Senior Art Director
Versed in television and print advertising as well as identity creation, Jose heads the design team at RC&A. Prior to joining the agency in the Fall of 2002, Jose attended Art Center College of Design where he graduated with a B.F.A. in Advertising. There, he and three fellow students were fortunate enough to work directly with Jeff Goodby of Goodby, Silverstein and Partners. Under the advertising guru's supervision, Jose helped conceive and produce an award winning commercial, "La Llorna" (Got Milk). It aired state wide in 2002 and won the "Silver" award given by the Hispanic Creative Advertising community. Jose also interned with Clement Mok while at Art Center. He helped develop educational materials for young people, ages 7-13 on how technology impacts our perception of the world. Upon graduating in 2001, Jose has gone on to produce a myriad of other ads and designs including a public service announcement for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and ID systems/collateral for CNP Technologies, Two Dragons Martial Arts, Urban Harvest Clothing and PG&E.
